The Greatest Blessing that Everyone can Enjoy!

Greatest Blessing

The Greatest Blessing that everyone can enjoy can be attained through spirituality. Read more about this in this article.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

The greatest blessing that everyone desires is to live for ever in comfort. But in spite of all his wealth, pomp, power and glory, he is destined to die. Death may come at any time. All are equal before it. Doctors, science and traditions of this world are powerless against it. This arouses three questions: Did God create man to end in complete destruction by death? Will man’s desire to live for ever prove to be unrealized? Is not this desire of man, a shadow of the reality that man will attain from God a state of eternal life after his death?

Surely Man Can Realize this desire

For, God promises to resurrect man and give him eternal life, after death.

What is the assurance for this? Is there any definite proof?

This can be fully trusted because this promise is given by the Almighty God. About 2000 years ago, Jesus who came as a humble man proved this. While he was on this earth, he healed the sick, raised the dead and cast out devils. He taught man truth, righteousness and morality. He also showed man the real way to glorify and worship the only true Almighty God, Jehovah. Though, Jesus was crucified to death by the wicked, God resurrected him the third day (Rom. 10:9). While all were gazing up, he ascended to heaven where there is no death. He lives eternally. This mysterious phenomenon of resurrection and ascension cannot be accomplished by science or any other power of this world. This is an historical truth which is indispensable for the basic faith leading to salvation of mankind. This truth cannot be denied by anyone. This is neither legend nor myth. The life of Jesus in this world is the proof and assurance of the reality that those who believe in him will get resurrected and live eternally in comfort as soon as Jesus comes again to this world as King of kings.

Who will attain eternal life, the Greatest Blessing?

Those who believe in Jesus alone will be blessed with eternal life (John 6: 40, 47). Jesus alone and no other man or prophet on this earth, could authoritatively promise, “he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet he shall be alive” (John 11:25). Jesus is the only saviour sent by God in order to give man everlasting life. Neither is there salvation in any other.

Can those who disbelieve in Jesus escape punishment?

Many live recklessly and heedlessly in the belief that everything concerning man ends at his death. But God did not create man to end with death. God gave his only begotten son Jesus in order to teach man the righteous way and to give him eternal life. God warns that he will surely punish those who do believe in and obey this Jesus. God also warns that, all such disbelievers shall suffer severe punishment in an eternal hell, after resurrection from death (Mark 16:16; 2 Thesse. 1:6-8; Matt. 25:41,46; Rev. 20:10). None of them can flee from God’s judgement and punishment.

The only true guide to the Greatest Blessing

The “Holy Bible” is the only true guide which describes all about the plan of God and the teachings of Christ so as to lead man to salvation and eternal life, which is the Greatest Blessing. (Isaiah 34:16, John 20:31). All the prophecies mentioned in the Holy Bible happen mysteriously. The greatest prophecy of this book is that Christ will soon establish a heavenly kingdom on this earth and give eternal life and happiness to man.

One will reap what one sows!

True believers are only those who live perfectly in accordance with what Jesus taught (John 14:12,15,16; 1 John 2:4-6). Eternal life and other rewards can be attained by man only if his life on this earth is perfectly in accordance with Christ’s commandments (Matt. 5:19,20; 25:35-46; Rev. 22:7, 11-15). One can understand and follow the righteous way taught by Jesus only through accurate Bible study and thereby alone one can lay a strong foundation for the attainment of eternal life (Matt. 7:21-27; 11:29; 22:29; 1Timo. 2:4; Rom. 1:28; 10:1-3; 2 Peter 1:8,9).

A Warning?

What is man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? (Matt. 6:226; Luke 12:9-21,33). Therefore, instead of being engaged in seeking the transitory pleasures of this world, one should study Bible and repent at once in order to attain the most invaluable reward of eternal life. Otherwise it will be too late. For, after a short while the human life on this earth vanishes like a shadow; no one knows what shall be on the morrow (James 4:14; Job 14:1; Psal. 103:15, 16). Moreover, while the nations vie with one another in accumulating atomic power and dreadful war weapons, there is every possibility of a world war breaking out at any time, in the near future (1 Thesse 5:3, Luke 21:34; Ezek. 13:10). Hence, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corin. 6:2).

Beware lest ye be deceived!

Jesus warns against conflicting principles and doctrines taught by anti-christ, false preachers and teachers. (Matt. 24:5, 24-26; 7:21-23; 2 Corin. 11:4; 1 John 4:1-2). Unless one comes out of the 2000 different sects and denominations who profess contradictory and unscriptural doctrines and faiths, salvation will be lost. (Matt. 7:13; Reve. 18:4; John 4:20-24). The hope to attain eternal life through mere fellowship, prayer, individual experiences, conventions, sermons etc. without accurate Bible study and without strict observance of commandments is sheer illusion and deception. One can claim Christ as savior only if he believes and lives according to what Jesus commands in the Bible. Beware!

No need for despair

Jesus assures that he will in no wise cast out (John 6:37) anyone, who goes to him. Hence even sinners will be saved and will get eternal life, if they repent, give up sins, believe in Jesus and obey him. Moreover, Jesus is the only solution and consolation for all the sufferings and problems which man encounters. For Jesus says “Come unto me; all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls; For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matt. 11:8-30).

Dear reader, Do you respond to the above call of Jesus? Which do you choose, the greatest blessing of eternal life or eternal punishment?

Jesus also teaches, “Seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth.” (Matt. 7:7,8).

Hope you have understood very well about the greatest blessing.
