Masala for Marinating

  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • Small Piece of Ginger
  • 2 teaspoon Chilly Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoon Rice Flour



Take all the ingredients in mentioned above to make the Masala Paste and run in a mixie. Adjust the salt as per your need.


Take 500 grams of fish of your choice and apply the Masala paste very well, all over the fish. Let this marinate for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.


Heat some Coconut oil in a frying pan / Tawa. Once the oil is hot, fry the fish in oil. Turn the fish so that it gets fried in both sides.
Use medium flame.
Fry the fish till it turns golden brown on both sides.


Place the fried fish in an absorbent or tissue paper to remove excess oil in it.


Simple Fish Fry is ready now. Serve it hot with Rice meals.
